To make the tournament more accessible and provide more opportunities for players to compete at their own level, we have added a 4.0–4.49 skill category in selected age groups, with 4.5 designated as AR events.

Our goal is to create stronger competition, more meaningful matches, and a better experience for everyone on court.

As always, events require a minimum of 4 teams/players to run, so be sure to register early and encourage your friends to join you!

Sponsorship & Partnerships Lead – Pickleball Association Queensland

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in Australia, and momentum across Queensland continues to build.

We’re currently progressing a major project alongside our expanding events and participation pathways, including the Queensland Pickleball Tour (QPT) and the Queensland Pickleball Championships (QPC).

To support this growth, we’re looking for a Sponsorship & Partnerships Lead (contract) to help secure foundation partners.
This is a hands-on, outcomes-focused role; not a strategy or admin position.

You’ll work closely with our Sponsorship Lead and leadership team to:
• Identify and approach potential partners
• Lead conversations and progress deals
• Help shape naming rights, category partnerships, and event sponsorship opportunities
• Convert interest into real commercial outcomes
This is an opportunity to get involved early, help shape a major initiative, and contribute to the continued growth of pickleball in Queensland.

Remuneration
• Commission on sponsorship revenue secured
• Strong upside for securing major partnerships

How this works
This is a flexible independent contractor engagement (not an employment role), suited to someone operating with their own ABN/company.

• Invoicing-based arrangement
