These people!!! Behind every great club is a group of people who give far more than most will ever see!

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible coaches — Ash, Brad, Dave, Bill and Kirsten — for the extraordinary work you do for our club every single day, every week, every month and every year.

Your wisdom, experience and knowledge are exceptional, but what stands out even more is the genuine care you show for every swimmer and every family. You guide with patience, lead with passion and give your time and energy so selflessly to help others chase their goals.
You celebrate the wins, steady the disappointments, build resilience, create belief and help shape young people far beyond the pool deck.

Great coaching is never just about times, medals or results. It is about relationships, trust, standards, consistency and creating an environment where people can grow and thrive ....and you do that superbly.

Our club is stronger, happier and more successful because of each of you. Thank you for the early mornings, long nights, weekends away, constant planning, emotional investment and unwavering commitment.

We are so lucky to have you leading our swimmers and helping create the special culture that makes this club what it is.
Grateful beyond words. Thank you coaches.

ST ANDREW’S SWIMMING CLUB – AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS - What a remarkable 2 weeks at the Australian Swimming Championships – the absolute pinnacle of racing in our country.

Across the combined Age and Open Championships, our St Andrew’s Swimming Club family delivered an extraordinary performance to finish 9th Overall in Australia. To stand inside the National Top 10 is a phenomenal achievement and a reflection of every swimmer, coach, family member and supporter who makes our club what it is.

This was a result built by 51 terrific individual and relay swimmers, with every athlete contributing to the points tally, the energy and the spirit of the team. But just as importantly, every member of our club contributes daily to the culture that continues to drive our success.

The Australian Championships is always a rollercoaster. Swimmers arrive with dreams, pressure, nerves and excitement – all chasing the chance to be their very best. Sometimes it works exactly as planned, and sometimes it doesn’t. That is the beauty of swimming.Swimming teaches accountability. It teaches resilience. It teaches that success and disappointment can sit side by side. It creates friendships, memories and life lessons that stay with you forever. It teaches us to keep showing up. And through it all, we are lucky to be surrounded by people who care deeply – people who want us to succeed and who stand beside us no matter the result.

Special thanks to Ash, Brad, David, Bill and Kirsten for their incredible leadership, passion and tireless work throughout the championship and throughout the year. Coaches ride the same emotional rollercoaster as the swimmers and we are so grateful for their wisdom, expertise and belief in our athletes.

MADI RISES TO THE TOP – THREE-TIME AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION 🥇🥇🥇

What an extraordinary championship for Madi, who has announced herself on the national stage with a remarkable performance at the Australian Age Championships.

Competing in the fiercely competitive 15 Girls division, Madi delivered a campaign of sheer class to claim three Australian titles:
🥇 200m Individual Medley
🥇 100m Backstroke
🥇 200m Backstroke

As if that wasn’t enough, she also added a superb Silver Medal in the 50m Backstroke 🥈 to complete one of the standout meets of the championships.
Madi is fast becoming one of the most highly respected young swimmers in Australia—not only for her talent in the pool, but for the way she carries herself away from it. Humble, hardworking and gracious, she is a fabulous young lady who represents her family, coaches and St Andrew’s Swimming Club with great pride.

To be successful across multiple events requires far more than talent. It takes discipline, resilience, commitment and an ability to perform when it matters most. Madi has shown all of those qualities in abundance.

Her success is no surprise to those who know her journey. Behind every medal is countless early mornings, hard sessions, sacrifices and an unwavering desire to improve. This championship was the reward for years of dedication.
Madi’s future is incredibly bright, but what makes her truly special is that she is just as impressive as a person as she is an athlete.

Congratulations Madi – three-time Australian Champion, silver medallist, role model and all round super person. The entire St Andrew’s community is so proud of you. Swimming Australia Swimming Wide Bay Swimming Queensland St. Andrew's Anglican College Sport
