I am very confident in saying you’ve never sat there at home one night
3 weeks before you’re holiday
and said to your partner
“F*ck, the reason I’m not in shape is because I didn’t sweat enough at the gym this last month”
Or
“Yeah, I could have been in shape now but I didn’t know what macros to have the last 8 weeks..”
Most of the time it isn’t information
It’s unlocking what you already have inside you
the confidence to keep goin when the scale doesn’t budge
The drive and fire in your stomach to really train
not just hope one day the muscle turns up
Someone to show you that it’s ok to do some hippy s**t
to calm down
practise meditation
pick up a book and read something meaningful
There’s a reason all of these people get into great shape and it isn’t because I tell them exactly what macros to hit and they do it to a T
I do coach nutrition
but I do it the same way I coach training
and the same way I work with people to see what they’re capable of when they finally stop just hoping for the best
if you want info there’s plenty of it
If you want real results that stick

So that’s one day in my inbox
Not a transformation reel or a 12-week shred
Just normal people — work, kids, the lot
quietly getting back into the best physical and mental shape of their lives
And here’s the thing about every single one of them
They started before they felt ready
In the middle of the chaos
Same place you’re probably sat right now
If you keep waiting for the calm week to begin..
you already know how that one goes
and maybe It’s been “next month” for a while now
So here’s the honest version:

or it’s still sat on the list

carbs are bad
fats are bad
donuts are bad
all three of those are wrong
there’s no good food and bad food
it’s just food
there’s food that makes you feel a bit s**t when you eat it every week
and food that makes you feel unreal when you eat it every week
that’s the whole game
Julz had it in his head that carbs were the enemy
safe to say he knows different now
we smashed them up — and you’ve seen the outcome
(with more food still to come)
here’s the thing
whatever you’ve been told, or told yourself, in the past — it’s only right if you stop trying
finding the balance is the bit that actually matters
so if you’re on something right now and it isn’t working
going strict
doing nothing
going keto
living off fresh air and fasting most days, then wondering why the muscle won’t come
strip it back
take a balanced approach
refine it as you go
chances are you can keep more of the food you actually want to eat and still get a cracking result off the back of it
(whole foods, mostly — I’m not telling you to live on donuts)
