Sold !
On to the next 555 rig a McEwen Racing chassis , as the season gets close so dose the next 555 , James and Tyson have been chipping away at it since the off season , and the car is looking good !
Our first hit out is October the 10 at Maryborough Speedway a 2 hour drive from sunny coast ,
Plan is to get the car there and give it a shake down as getting in practice might be cutting it fine with work and time poor on weekends going back to night shifts ,
The new owner has raced in the club few moons ago and I’m sure he’ll do a good job on getting it race ready before season starts ! As he soars that’s the aim.

Car has sold ! The hoskings chassis has now been moved onto someone that will get it back out racing start/ mid season !
The new car is coming along well so stoked at how fast McEwen Built cars are building ii, so as the season starts to near we will be more active in leading up to the new season with updates.
Will post up some photos of the build once we have a roll cage tact on ,

Typical speedway off season stuff full 180s- sell - buy - sell -buy not racing - racing…
Long story short we have striped out our old Hoskings car and am currently having a new car built by McEwen Built race cars !
LS1 V8 Chevy - quick change- and a duplicate copy sample of a Robb Race Cars & Repairs RRR love the rrr cars and the content that’s been made about them in the dirty south! It’s been changed to suit our weaker front bumper rules and obviously a winters diff ,
Thanks to James, his family and the people that back him to build cars here in Australia as more cars are being built in the last few years things are becoming abit easier to get it done here in QLD
Looking forward to October for the start off the season hopefully a few flags and some bent side rails too follow ! 🏁

Welded in bell housing.. $19 dollar part just have to remove the engine to get to it 🫣
Pushing to get to our next race meeting just removed the LS1 engine and will start on engineering a new firewall this week so that we can still operate with the space and specs avoiding major adjustments ( drive shafts / input shafts / starter )
