Good luck today in the bream comp Dazza, although his prefish was a bit tough the Detonator managed this angry little Cod and also a massive puffer fish (no photos of that one). Hopefully it will help nail a few Bream for him today.

A couple more customs done, we’re liking the new Flathead design, now we just need to get out there to test them.

It’s been a little while since we have had battle yak juniors show casing their artistic talent!! Today Archie wanted to paint a lure for me(Paulie) so I just let him go with the gun just to see what combination he could come up with… results are bloody awesome
To be honest I’m pretty keen to test this torpedo minnow on some Flatty and Tailor.

Well we’re at it again, doing another women’s kayak fishing workshop, back at camp SMEAC with the Women's Fishing Classic.

This one’s on the 20th of June so if you know any lady’s that are keen kayak fisho’s or are just starting out yourself and are looking for a safe place to learn some new skills and connect with like minded ladies then this is the workshop for you.

Here’s a “Flashback Friday” this photo was taken when Battle Yak Lures first started out a couple of years ago now. This solid toga was caught on a Battle Buzz Bait at Borumba dam. I still remember Paulie saying “holy sh*te” “check out the wake coming from the bank to my Buzz Bait”
Next minute the surface blew up and Paulies rod buckled over, this thing towed him around for a bit on the light tackle, jumping all over the place but we managed to net her.💪💪💪💪

We may even still have a few of the old Buzz Baits in stock if anyone’s interested in giving them ago on toga, big bass or even a Barra.🤔
