Huge thank you to everyone who came down for Come & Try Day today — the turnout was amazing! It was so great to see so many new faces giving baseball a go, alongside plenty of familiar ones back for more. This is exactly what our club is all about. 🧡💙

📢 Tomorrow’s the day!

Come & Try Day kicks off tomorrow at North Shore Multi Sports Complex, Mudjimba. 9:30am–1:30pm, juniors in the morning, adults from 11:30am — but honestly, come whenever works for you.

No registration needed beforehand, just show up ready to have a go. Bring your family, bring your mates, and get ready for skills, drills, games, and a sausage sizzle.

See you on the diamond! ⭐⚾⭐

👀 Got a kid who’s always asking to try something new?

Baseball might just be it. Come & Try Day is the easiest, most relaxed way for young ones to get a feel for the game — no gear, no pressure, no need to know the rules. Our coaches will take care of the rest.

🇦🇺⚾ SUNSHINE COAST BASEBALL ON THE WORLD STAGE! ⚾🇦🇺

The Sunshine Coast Baseball Association is incredibly proud to have our very own international/ Australian-experienced coach, Geoff Wade, leading the Aussie Drop Bears U12s, a team selected from around Australia, as Head Coach at the **Babe Ruth Cal Ripken U12 World Series Championships **in Branson, Missouri! 🇦🇺🐨

Also representing the Sunshine Coast is SCBA player Jackson Caton, proudly wearing the green and gold on the world stage.

After a training camp and a number of games in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the team travelled to Branson and are now competing at the amazing Ballparks of America — an incredible baseball facility providing a fantastic environment for these young players to train, compete and experience international baseball. ⚾🏟️

The boys have trained hard, worked together as a team and embraced every opportunity — from batting practice in the cages and on-field drills to meeting players from around the world who share their love of baseball. 🌎⚾

So far at the World Series:

🇦🇺 Australia 11 – 0 Curaçao
🇦🇺 Australia 6 – 20 Puerto Rico
🇦🇺 Australia 1 – 12 Chinese Taipei

It’s about more than the results — it’s about opportunity, friendships, learning, teamwork and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
