Club news (in case you didn't get the email)
We have one more week to go for this season.
Next week is the Div 1 Finals (1v2) and Div 3 Finals (1v2) as well as the deciding match for Division 2.
Division 1
Zac was undefeated for the season winning 18 from 18.
The team rankings went down to the last week with Team 1 (44 points) and Team 3 (43 points) just pipping Team 2 (41points).
So the Finals will be Zac, Malakai, Jayde V Joo (sub), Ashish, Alan.
Division 2
The Final week will determine the winner as the Dingoes with 22 matches and Foxes with 21 matches just one match behind.
This will also be the last chance for William McPherson to knock David Perrmiman off the top of the rankings.
And the last chance for John Ettel to get a win.
Division 3
The Lions led the whole season, but the Jaguars roared past them this week with injuries determining the final scoreline, 49 to 47.
The end result however is the same with Jaguars (Rommel, Colin, Christine) V Lions (Greg C, Greg, W, Zach) in the final.
Rommel had a good season with 17 wins from 18 and topped the individual rankings.
Winter Season
The Winter season starts on the 7th July.
Registrations are now open at https://www.sunshinecoasttabletennis.club/events/360865
Cost is $80 per season.
The number of weeks is slightly higher than last season, but we wont know exactly until the numbers are in, but we hope to run for 10 weeks.
We will be adding stringer rounds (inc doubles) for any weeks where there are competitions in place, eg Qld Vets
We hope the format for all divisions will be the same as this seasons Div1/3 as we have had some positive feedback on this, which is greatly appreciated.
Please register as soon as possible, as we want to have a short turnaroubd between the seasons.
Queensland Vets
The closing date is fast approaching, so if you want to participate, get your individual entries in.
Team entries will be done by David Gillard, so please advise him if you want to be in the teams.

Our coaches come to you!
In-home coaching offers a flexible and convenient way to train in a familiar environment.
Sessions are adapted to the available space and equipment, and focus on practical skill development, movement, coordination and confidence.
This option works well for:
๐ Families and siblings training together
๐ Players who prefer a quieter or more comfortable setting
๐ Participants who benefit from reduced travel or flexible scheduling
In-home coaching can be combined with club-based sessions as part of a broader training plan.

Autumn comp
After a week off, the Stringer round for divisions 1 and 3 were played. There were some good games, with players on the same level playing singles. This format will be used again in future as a fill in when the format and the number of weeks in the season require the extra night. Next time however we will also add the 3 doubles combinations for each level. The scores add to the Teams only, and not the players as this would distort the percentages. Ashish and Aaron won all 3 in Division 1, and Colin and Greg won all 3 in division 3.
In Division 2, Peter Kennedy and Judy Zhang both beat Mike Rodgers in long 7 game matches.
Judy also went to 7 for a win against Glen Sharp for a solid but tiring night for Judy.
David Perriman remains unbeaten this season, as he aims to have a clean sweep.
Junior Coaching
With a record 27 juniors playing last Thursday we are considering another TOPS coaching course.
Please can you let Colin or Patrick know if you are interested in this TTQ backed course. If so, we will arrange this with TTQ and let you know when and where. A Blue card is a requirement.
