Jesus this was harder than I was wanting or expecting
Had to test out th new mono with some heavy squats
245kg x 4 for this weeks heavy deadlifts
Just a quick session today! Had a little bit of running around to do. Had the usual double overhand deficit deadlifts (this week at 160kg) and laying ham curls but got to enjoy my newest machine of the Reverse Hyper. love it!
Like butter. Slowly creeping this bench up.

Now it wouldn’t be Christmas without some gym shenanigans. This will always be one of my favourite sessions of the year. Heaps of laughs and of course some pbs. Thought we’d have some fun on the slingshots a see what we could hit. 160 for and I snuck 180 in.
We were a little thin this year for the session. So I can’t wait to be reunited with so we can get after it again. Missing you heaps mate.

Another day in the office. 215kg x 8. I didn’t really know what to expect coming into these today. Was feeling a little flat but tired out alright.
Genuinely been have so much fun with my training at the moment. Changing my ways and getting back to more old school powerlifting training with way more volume. Heaps of fun.
Also had my new slingshot arrived so I thought I better take it for a spin.
A1 - Close grip bench press 3x10 paused
B1 - Close grip bench press AMRAP (with slingshot)
C1 - incline db press 5x15
C2 - decline pec fly 5x15
D1 - front fly 5x 15
D2 - side fly 5x15
D3 - rear fly 5x15
E1 - assisted dips 5x15
E2 - cable tricep push down 5x15
Currently in deload for bench press
5x5 beltless deficit deadlifts (double overhand). Nice and cruisy after heavy squats on Saturday
First heavy deadlift day since the comp. Not that heavy just very hard 😂

First deadlift session since the comp over the weekend. Definitely a few niggling injuries in the body. Really felt in in the deload bench press and squats this week. One more deload session left in the week before starting the next new training phase.
