WOW,what a great weekend. Extremely busy and long hours but the effort was worth it.
The Sunshine Coast Model Boat Club put on displays on both days of the Bribie Classic Boat Regatta. Both days were full of surprises and many interesting people and stories were told. Thank you to the organising committee of BACE Bribie Aquatic Community Events Inc. for giving us the opportunity to show and share our wonderful hobby of model boat building and to show some of the model vessels our club members have.

📜 BREAKING: HISTORIC NAVIGATION DEVICE DISCOVERED AT SYLVAN BEACH

Apparently this map was found rolled up in a bottle, wedged between a pelican, a steam boat and someone’s missing thong.

The Bribie Classic Boat Regatta is 27 years old - and judging by this map, the cartographer was born a century before that!.

But don’t let the vintage vibes fool you . . . the Regatta starts TOMORROW, so don’t stuff around.

Rain or shine, it’s full steam-boat ahead. 🚤💨
