We have a new little addition growing in the K-Fit Active family!! π A little boxing buddy coming at the start of September! πΆ
A glimpse of my HIIT session yesterday afternoon!
Battle ropes -> 30 sec on, 15 sec off, 10 rounds.
Treadmill sprints -> 30 sec on, 15 sec off, 15 rounds.
To say I was a sweaty, exhausted mess by the end of it would be a lie. I was a sweaty, exhausted mess after the first 5 battle rope rounds! π
I'm glad I filmed this because here I was thinking (and feeling) that I was keeping quite still and steady through my core and upper body with my rope slams! π₯΄ I can see my area of opportunity to focus and improve on next HIIT session! π―

The cutest little member of the K-Fit Active family! π€ This little boy has grown up watching his beautiful, strong, empowering Mumma complete her 2 pt sessions, week in week out. Every day he wants to do the same and join in .. whether it's boxing, the treadmill, lifting the weights, yoga stretches, being held while his Mum squats, making me do workouts with him (like the next video I'll post), going for a walk outside or just being active and playing outdoors! π Kids really do idolise their parents and the people around them. Show them how to live a happy and healthy life and they will copy!

What's on your menu for breakfast this morning?
I've got protein oats with a blueberry compote, sprinkled with coconut and slivered almonds! π€€
Challenges!π₯π―
Do you set yourself little challenges often? I do! Whether it be 12,000 steps each day for 7 days straight. Or add an extra 5 reps on to a certain exercise each day for that week. Whatever it may be, keep going!! This week I have decided to give some hand stand push-ups a crack and start to perfect these along with increasing my depth and range of motion within my shoulders in this certain exercise. I'll be consistently working on these for the next few weeks I think. They're tough .. but remember, it's a challenge for a reason. Something that hurts, that pushes you, a struggle, takes you out of your comfort zone and really makes you work for it! That's the beauty of a challenge. Success doesn't come from your comfort zone and your day to day life. You have to work for it, to earn it, to achieve it!! π₯π―

First photo when I bought this skirt was September 11th. Second photo is today (October 9th). The last 2 weeks I have changed up my nutrition plan and training program and have followed it to a tee, 100% to what I plan for and allow each week! I am already 2.6kg down in just 12 days! Skin is tighter and more toned, fat cells are disappearing and muscle strength and recovery has improved drastically! β
It speaks for itself, really!

Today I filmed part of my workout to check my form & technique! As I was going through the video, I thought you guys would appreciate these moments captured of me after the set, exhausted, getting my breath back and my muscles hurting! π
I pull the faces too and can be dramatic as well my friends! Hahaha. HAPPY THURSDAY! πββοΈ
