🚛 HC TRUCK DRIVERS WANTED – IMMEDIATE START 🚛
Elite Earthmoving & Civil is looking for 4 experienced HC Truck Drivers to join our team starting Monday.
If you’re experienced with Road Ranger prime movers and side tippers, we want to hear from you.
What we offer:
✅ $55/hour night shift rate
✅ 5:30 pm starts
✅ Night shift for the first 4 weeks
✅ Transition to day shift after 4 weeks (day shift paid at our standard day shift rate)
✅ K***a Park based
✅ Modern, well-maintained fleet
✅ Ongoing work for the right drivers
Requirements:
* Current HC Licence (MC licence welcomed)
* Road Ranger experience essential
* Side tipper experience preferred
* Reliable, punctual and safety-focused

53 workable days in five and a half months.
Floods. Fuel shortages. Delays outside anyone’s control.
This year tested the civil and construction industry hard.
But through it all, our crew kept showing up.
From emergency response works and rural subdivisions to council projects, RAAF works and high-end developments…. we adapted, pushed forward, and kept delivering.
What carried us through wasn’t luck.
It was good people.
A strong crew.
A commitment to quality, no matter the conditions.
To our team, clients, suppliers, and everyone who backed us this year, thank you from our little family to yours.

Projects like these are always rewarding to be part of.
Over the years we have been involved in a range of coastal rehabilitation and seawall works across Queensland, helping protect vulnerable shoreline areas and waterways while improving long term stability.
Working in sensitive coastal environments requires a careful balance between civil construction, environmental responsibility and long term infrastructure protection.
It is an area of the industry our team genuinely enjoys being involved in and takes a lot of pride in.

Most people think excess dirt from construction sites just gets carted away and wasted.
A large amount of it can actually be recycled and reused when it is processed properly.
Different sites produce completely different types of soil, so it is not as simple as just moving dirt from one place to another. Some material needs more sand, some needs blending and some needs to be screened multiple times depending on what the final product is being used for.
Our crew running the screening plant know exactly how to blend different materials to create quality screened topsoil suitable for landscaping, gardens and future projects. A lot of knowledge goes into getting the right mix and creating a clean, consistent product.
Without this process, thousands of tonnes of reusable material would simply go to waste and end up dumped unnecessarily.
It is one of those behind the scenes parts of civil construction most people never really get to see, but it plays a huge role in reducing waste and making better use of material that would otherwise be discarded.
