The Junior Coastal Cricket League comes down to one final showdown as Yandina Pioneers IX take on Grammar Lions IX!

Get down to Roy Henzell Park and enjoy some exciting 100-ball cricket as the competition’s top two teams battle it out for the title.

🏏 JUNIOR CCL – FINALS DAY!

Unfortunately, the final round was washed out, and we were robbed of what was shaping up to be a cracker between Grammar and PLC IX. PLC were well ahead of the DLS par score, but the rain arrived with the match just two balls short of constituting a result.

Now it’s onto Finals Day!

At 10am, Caloundra Colts take on Sunshine Coast Combined Schools in the 5th v 6th playoff, followed by Flinders v PLC IX at 12:20pm for 3rd v 4th.

Then at 2:40pm, minor premiers Yandina Pioneers face Grammar Lions in the Grand Final.

One last day of 100-ball cricket. Let’s finish the competition with a bang! πŸ†

🏏 JUNIOR CCL – ROUND 5 PREVIEW

It all comes down to this! The final round of the Coastal Cricket League junior competition is here, with Grand Final spots still up for grabs.

PLC IX take on Grammar at 10am, Yandina Pioneers face Caloundra Colts at 12:20pm, and Flinders meet Sunshine Coast Combined Schools at 2:40pm.

With finals positions on the line, every run and wicket will matter in a huge day of 100-ball cricket.

🏏 JUNIOR CCL – ROUND 4 WRAP

Round 4 delivered plenty of drama as Grammar, PLC IX and Yandina all picked up important wins.

Yandina have all but locked up top spot heading into the final round, but the race for the second Grand Final berth is wide open.

Grammar, Flinders and PLC IX are all locked together on 10 points, with only net run rate separating them.

🏏 JUNIOR CCL – ROUND 4 PREVIEW

After Round 3 was unfortunately washed out due to rain, the Coastal Cricket League returns this Sunday with a full slate of junior 100-ball action.

Caloundra Colts take on Grammar Lions at 10am, PLC IX face Sunshine Coast Combined Schools at 12:20pm, and Flinders Cricket Club meet Yandina Pioneers at 2:40pm.

With valuable points on the line and the ladder starting to take shape, every match will be crucial as teams push for finals spots.

🏏 JUNIOR CCL – ROUND 3 PREVIEW

Round 3 is set for another big Sunday of 100-ball cricket at Caloundra!

Caloundra Colts and Sunshine Coast Combined Schools open the day at 10am, before unbeaten Yandina Pioneers face Grammar Lions at 12:20pm. PLC IX and Flinders Cricket Club close out the round at 2:40pm.

Can Yandina and Flinders maintain their perfect starts, or will the chasing pack shake up the ladder?

Round 2 of the Coastal Cricket League delivered another strong day of 100-ball action, with three convincing performances across the competition.

Yandina Pioneers continued their unbeaten start, defeating PLC IX by 76 runs after valuable contributions from J Trace and B Scott, before backing it up with the ball through J Olivier and J Rutherford.

Grammar Lions bounced back in style, claiming an eight-wicket win over Sunshine Coast Combined Schools. A composed chase, led by M Bloomfield and R Cocciante, helped the Lions get their campaign moving.

In the match of the round, Flinders Cricket Club powered to an 84-run win over Caloundra Colts IX, with D Baird producing a blistering 75.

After two rounds, Yandina and Flinders sit unbeaten on top of the ladder.
