Blessings to you in whichever version of solstice you experience, knowing other layers of the life song co-exist in the relentless change of it all.

Hey humans - as I swing toward more active contribution to the times, while holding balance with my role in the maternal nest, here’s what’s compelling me.

When we work together in responsive and adaptive ways, informed and guided by planetary patterns of living systems, we experience a marvellous generation of aliveness.

The terrain for supporting our species navigate such a responsibility right now includes the following.

1 - I help clusters of humans functioning together in an organisation to operate as a coherent, functional and effective whole. A way also embracing each component human as a coherent, functional and effective whole. This through the governance practice of the Sociocratic Circle-organisation Method (aka sociocracy), grounded in the principles of effectiveness, equivalence and transparency.

2 - I help humans know and live response-ability, relationally and relevance in the everyday through home and life decluttering and organising. Because we can’t be as coherent, functional, effectively whole in a cluttered and scattered context.

3 - Living as a grounded whole in all my messy human ways; walking labyrinths in nature spaces, listening to the stars, and laughing with my whole soul.

How I specifically contribute to this audacious undertaking:
• Consulting & training: in collaborative decision-making and governance (Sociocracy).
• Mentoring & coaching: 1-1 and small groups programs
• Workshop facilitation: with special interest in the topic of Social Permaculture.

Some of my super powers for this include:
radical listening,
eloquent relating,
whole systems orientation,
agile thinking, and
a fierce heart.

This is all in the context of a world heaving with 8+ billion humans, accelerating climate crisis, and the fracturing of blooming far-right ideologies. We must employ nimble and timeless strategies if we’re to navigate our way to more stable times.

Blessings to the new cycle of calendar pages turning ⭐️

Just as many blessings to the array of new cycles constantly meeting us.

Each day we reach into the future and breath aliveness into a new daily cycle. Sun rising, peaking, setting, resting.

Each month we track the moon’s light through its tidal gleaming. Rising, peaking, setting, resting.

Each year, the earth tilts and offers rest from the sun’s constant fuelling - through darkness to those outside of the tropics. And through rainy season to those who are equatorial.

Cycles within cycles gleam and glow and rise and fall.

These same cycles live in our bodies and map our human lifetime.

So as the calendar pages turn once more, may we humans to do knowing the blessed aliveness of ecologically-tethered beginnings and endings that constantly wrap us in aliveness.

May all the cycles greet you with happiness, peaceful rest and sacred nows 🕊️🪲

Putting digital pen to pixelated paper. Finding expression by releasing a stream-of-conscious line.

So many things bubble away inside my heart constantly.

Rapid pivoting is the order of things in my world right now.

Letting go and trusting is paramount resource. Seeing and allowing too.

Knowing that just because it doesn’t look how I expect, to not underestimate the enchanted mundane.

Yes, becoming mother has unraveled me. But only from the ways that think they need to pe*****te and do do do.

Most days I visit my labyrinth up in the forest. I meet it with the simplicity of listening. I recognise a sacred rhythm in the turning of the path that helps me connect to the timeless ways.

Simple glimmers sing so loudly if I let my heart hear them.

I have things to say and contribute. And allowing that to be in the microcosm of the day to day at home with bae is the current way.

Listening to the pre-verbal and beyond-verbal is my assignment.

Ooops, baby’s awake.
Bounce.

If it seems repetitive, you might just be starting to pay attention.

What a blessing to be alive for yet another winter solstice!

An existential time marker within the living wheel.

A calibration point.

A gesture of understanding, that life always meets a pause point.

The more I let the tides of life sway me in its cycles of sun & moon & planets the more I feel known and oriented.

May all beings know they belong x
