Fasting has been marketed as the magic solution for weight loss, but for many women it creates more problems than it solves.

You don’t need to earn your food by starving yourself first.

When you consistently skip meals, your body doesn’t suddenly become a fat-burning machine.

Instead, it starts adapting to survive:

• Your energy drops.
• Hunger hormones increase.
• Cravings become harder to control.
• Muscle loss becomes more likely.
• Fat loss can slow over time.
• Consistency becomes harder to maintain.

The truth is that weight loss isn’t about eating as little as possible.

It’s about giving your body the nutrients it needs while creating a sustainable calorie deficit that you can actually maintain.

As women, our bodies are incredibly responsive to stress and under-fuelling.

If you’ve been stuck in a cycle of fasting, overeating, feeling guilty and starting again every Monday, it’s not because you lack self control or discipline.

It’s because restriction often creates the exact behaviours you’re trying to avoid.

The women who get the best long-term results aren’t the ones skipping breakfast and surviving on coffee.

They’re the ones eating enough protein, building muscle, managing hunger, supporting their hormones and staying consistent.

Stop trying to just eat less.

That quick drink at school drop off pickup…🧋
