🧪 Lab coats on, ladies - we’re entering our STEM romance era🧬💘

Our September Book of the Month is The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood - a fake-dating, grumpy x sunshine romance featuring one very chaotic PhD student, one very tall and very broody professor, and an experiment that gets wildly out of control.

There’s fake dating. There’s forced proximity. There’s academic tension. There’s a man who is apparently terrifying to everyone except the woman currently pretending to be his girlfriend. And yes, there is that sunscreen scene. If you know, you know. 🫠

And because September is apparently determined to feed us, The Love Hypothesis movie is also coming to Prime Video this month. So naturally, we’re reading the book first, discussing every questionable decision at book club, and then conducting the very important scientific research of deciding whether the movie lives up to it. 🎬🔬

Expect yearning. Expect awkward flirting. Expect women in STEM. Expect Adam Carlsen to become everyone’s entire personality for approximately 300 pages.

Our gorgeous BTW birthday cake was made by Roby Andersen and not only did they absolutely nail the brief… it tasted SO good too🤍
