A modified nipper program developed by the amazing volunteers at Angelsea SLSC.
Starfish Nippers is a modified and structured nipper program designed for children and young adults with a disability. The programs aim is to give young people with a range of abilities, the opportunity to enjoy experiencing beach safety and water awareness skills with the one-to-one support of water safety. It features beach and water activities such as games, beach flags, wading, swimming and boards, modified to suit the individuals needs.

An amazing start to or 2022/23 season. Starfish offers children and young adults with a range of abilities an opportunity to learn about surf safety, meet new friends and most of all have fun whilst engaging with their community.

Today we welcomed so many new faces, this is a beautiful representation of what Starfish is to a Surf Club community. We have clubbies, gold medal masters, junior SRC and age group nippers volunteering their time, skills and enthusiasm to develop our Starfish' fitness, confidence and life long water safety skills.
