📢 TOURNAMENT UPDATE: Sunshine Coast Open Pickleball postponed

After carefully monitoring the weather forecast and considering all available options, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Sunshine Coast Open Pickleball Tournament.

📅 NEW DATES: 27–29 November 2026📍 KT Academy Mooloolaba

This was not a decision we made lightly. We know many of you have been looking forward to this weekend, registered for multiple events and locked in travel and accommodation, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.

Why the change?☔ Player safety was our priority🏫 The new dates allow us to secure the school’s undercover area if the weather doesn’t cooperate (it wasn’t available for this weekend)🏓 Everyone gets the chance to finish all their games and enjoy our new courts in the best possible conditions

What this means for you:✅ Can’t make the new dates? We’ll arrange a full refund. Email us at [email protected] or send us a DM to let us know.✅ Registrations will reopen for players who couldn’t make the original dates but are free 27–29 November.✅ We’ll respond to all questions and refund requests as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience, understanding and flexibility while we work through the changes and respond to everyone’s enquiries.

Thank you for your support. We can’t wait to welcome you all to KT Academy Mooloolaba for a fantastic weekend of pickleball! 💙💚

🌧️ COMMUNITY OPEN DAY POSTPONED

Unfortunately, due to the significant rainfall forecast for the Sunshine Coast, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Mooloolaba Pickleball Community Open Day this Thursday, 22 October.

We are incredibly disappointed. We were looking forward to welcoming everyone to celebrate the opening of our eight new pickleball courts and this exciting milestone for our club and community.

However, the safety of our community, volunteers, players and guests comes first.
Once the current weather situation has passed, we will consider the options available and provide a further update.

Thank you for your understanding and the fantastic support you have shown our club and the new pickleball precinct.

Stay safe, everyone. 💙

Last weekend, our Invitational Squad players had the chance to compete in the Head State Age JT 250 and take part in the 2026 Tennis Trip to Gladstone!

The kids had a great time competing, receiving coaching feedback from Ben and Caroline, and putting their skills to the test on court.

And while there were definitely some tough battles on court, there was also plenty of time to celebrate everyone’s achievements and, of course, Maleah’s birthday.

It was also a special weekend for us as we took home the Culture Award! 🏆 A great recognition of the team spirit and community our players and coaches bring with them.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the trip such a memorable one. And happy late birthday, Maleah 🎂🥳
