We have made the decision early to postpone this weekends club round.
We are up against a poor forecast, a competition clash some of our juniors are involved in on the Goldy and of course it's Father's Day!!!
As rad is it is to spend Father's Day amongst the legendary Dads we have in the club, this year, all things considered we think the right thing to do is make the call early and let you plan a sick day for Dad... he deserves it!!!!! (Probably....🤣)
Enjoy and we will have a crack on the 20th after the Juniors are back from the HPC on the 11th to 13th.

August gave us another great Club Round, super nice weather, fun waves all day and a heap of good times.
Congrats to all the division winners 🏆
Special mention to the Junior Development Tag Team Heat winners and Tyson Currell for coming of the bench (or the esky he was sitting on...) to help coach and push on a few of the team members where needed. 👏 👏
Shout out to everyone who made it today and to those who always help set up and pack down ... legends!!!
These Club Days couldn't be done without our amazing sponsors 🙏

The Surf-A-Thon is live!
The North Shore Junior Development Groms are heading to the Surfing Australia High Performance Centre (HPC).
Our Junior Development Program crew are taking on a 30-day Surf-A-Thon to help raise funds for their trip to the Surfing Australia High Performance Centre at Casuarina from 11–13 September.
Some will be chasing waves for the full 30 days, and others will be joining in along the way or participating in other activities where they can — every wave still counts.
The challenge is simple: surf, share the journey, and raise support from family, friends and the wider community. We will be reposting some of the socials and stories, so strap in — it’s on for the next 30 days!
Each grom has a $400 target to help cover two nights’ accommodation, two full coaching days, access to the HPC facility, travel, food and trip costs.
This is about more than fundraising. It is about backing our juniors, building confidence, strengthening team culture and helping the next generation of North Shore Boardriders take the next step.
Sponsor a grom. Share the campaign. Back the Surf-a-Thon.
Every wave counts. Every donation helps.
Click through to the campaign page, choose a grom to support, or just make a donation and help the crew get to the HPC:

Your support is very much appreciated!

From North Shore to the world stage — let’s get behind Stella Green. 🇦🇺 fund-raising campaign.
North Shore Boardriders member Stella Green has earned the opportunity to represent Australia as part of the 2026 Irukandjis Junior Team at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship in El Salvador this September.
She will join 11 of Australia’s best young surfers as the Irukandjis chase a third consecutive Team Gold Medal on the world stage.
For Stella, this opportunity is the result of years of early mornings, training, travel, competition and commitment.
She began her journey as a young surfer coming through North Shore Boardriders and the Queensland competitive pathway. Her progression is a credit to Stella and her family, as well as the opportunities and support provided along the way by Surfing Queensland, Surfing Australia, her coaches, sponsors and the wider Sunshine Coast surfing community.
It is also another reminder of the calibre of surfers who continue to emerge from the shores of Maroochydore and the Sunshine Coast. Surfers including Keely Andrew, Sophie McCulloch, Alister Reginato and many others have grown up surfing these same beaches before progressing to compete at the highest levels of the sport. For every young surfer currently paddling out at a North Shore club day, Stella’s achievement shows that the pathway is real. The local beach can become the state stage. The state stage can become the Australian stage and the Australian stage can lead all the way to representing your country.
International competition, however, comes with significant costs. To help Stella and her family meet the expenses involved in travelling to El Salvador, North Shore Boardriders has established a fundraising campaign through the Australian Sports Foundation.
Funds raised will help contribute towards Stella’s international travel, accommodation, and competition expenses.
Stella has earned her place now let's help get her there.
Sharing this campaign with friends, family and local businesses will help us reach more people and build support for Stella.
Congrats Stella, we are proud to see you pull on the green and gold!!!
