Another great Monday night on court 🙌

Plenty of fun, good rallies and a fantastic atmosphere once again at our Intermediate level fixed pairs session.

A big thank you to Lisa for volunteering to lead the session 👏 We really appreciate our club members stepping up to help.

☕️ Congratulations to Ian and Mark who took home this week’s coffee vouchers from our friends Be Right Back Coffee Co. after an incredibly close final against Jeremy and Claire. It could have gone eitherway but Ian and Mark managed to just get over the line in the end!

Looking for a way to support our school community?

As many of you know, Buderim Pickleball and Tennis Club is based at Buderim Mountain State School and we’re fortunate to be able to use the school’s sporting facilities.

One of the club’s key aims is to raise funds and attract support to help improve sporting facilities at BMSS, creating better spaces for both students and the wider community to enjoy.

The school’s annual PineFest is coming up, and they are currently looking for volunteers to help make the event a success.

If you have time available and would like to support the school community, we’d encourage you to consider getting involved.

Volunteers Needed for Pinefest 2026! 🌲✨

Pinefest is shaping up to be an incredible community celebration, but we can't do it without the support of our amazing volunteers.

Whether you can spare an hour or a full day, every helping hand makes a difference. We are looking for volunteers to assist:

📅 In the week leading up to Pinefest: helping with preparation, setup and behind-the-scenes tasks
🎪 On event day, Saturday 20 June: Supporting stalls, rides, activities, ticketing and more
🧹 The day after Pinefest: Helping with pack down and clean up

Volunteering is a great way to meet other families, contribute to our school community and help create an unforgettable experience for thousands of visitors.

All funds raised through Pinefest will support the next BMSS P&C project; upgrading the school oval for the benefit of our students and the wider Buderim community.

The weather kept us guessing on Monday night, but with good vibes from Carol, the dry weather held out long enough to squeeze in some pickleball and make the most of the evening 🙌

Friday evening saw a great night on court with a full house and plenty of great pickleball, laughs and good company.

A highlight of the evening was gathering everyone together for a group photo to wish Kate well - who recently welcomed her new baby into the world.

After a few weather interruptions recently, it was great to enjoy a dry evening on court.

A big thank you to Fernando for volunteering to lead the session tonight 👏 - it’s always appreciated when club members step up to help.

Our beginner progression group continues to go from strength to strength. It was fantastic to see familiar faces back on court, improving their game and, most importantly, having fun.

Meanwhile, our intermediate players were in full flow with another round of Circular King/Queen of the court.

It was also great to welcome a few new players again tonight. The community continues to grow, and we’re loving seeing players progress through the different sessions and levels.

A slightly frustrating evening yesterday with the rain arriving just as we were about to get underway ☔️😢

That’s outdoor sport sometimes…..but we’re already looking ahead to Friday and, according to the forecast, things are looking much drier. 🤞

👀 Intermeiate session - currently full. But we recommend joining the waitlist as spots do sometimes open up closer to the day.

👀 Beginner session - currently 3 spots avail. These are ideal sessions for players continuing to develop their game and have a fun, social hit.
