With 30+ years of youth coaching experience, I know talent when I see it and I can recognise those who are self-driven. Since being involved in local youth football here on the Coast, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible potential in our young players. However, the reality for our local youth players, is that compet

ition for development spots is incredibly high. Often, dozens of dedicated, hard-working players are trialling for just a handful of positions in existing programs. Too often, they return to club environments where volunteer coaches are restricted by time, resources and mixed levels of engagement from other players. The focus of the training session is on the team rather than the individual. When the 'maths' doesn't work out at trials, where do those players go to keep growing? I founded Koru Football Centre of Excellence to provide that essential bridge. 🌿

We aren't about big numbers or 'factory-style' drills. We are a development-first hub for the players who have the drive for representative football but need a dedicated environment with like minded athletes to master the technical and physical skills required to get there. The Koru Commitment:

KORU ADVANTAGE – TERM 4 ⚽️🏃‍♂️

Want to get a head start on the 2027 season?

Koru Advantage is our 10-week Off-Season Football Conditioning program for players aged 10+, designed to build:

⚡ Speed
🔁 Agility & Co-ordination
⚽ Fitness on the ball

Also ideal for SCCSA U10 → U11 and FQ MiniRoos → Junior players stepping up to larger fields in 2027.

Players will complete basic baseline testing at the start of the program and re-testing at the end to help measure progress across the 10 weeks.

🗓 Term 4
⏱ 1 x 1-hour session per week
💲$120 for the 10-week program

Sessions will proceed subject to minimum participant numbers.

Designed for players who want more than just a kickaround — with purposeful training, high repetitions, small-group energy and plenty of football fun.

🌱 Discovery Football Experience
Ages 5–9
9:00am–12:00pm
A fun, confidence-building football experience for younger players.

⚽ Development Accelerator
Ages 10–12
1:00pm–4:00pm
Focused technical development for motivated players wanting to improve their ball mastery, confidence and game understanding.
