Bingay Bingay is Australia's original and longest-running gay/drag bingo night!

Bingay is gay bingo which means there’s fabulous tunes, weird rules and penalties, outrageous antics, hilarious repartee, deliciously lewd bingo calls, and prizes that range from the silly and camp to great theatre tickets and restaurant vouchers. Bingay hostess Charisma Belle oversees the madcap proceedings and Bingay’s long time barrel babe Naomi Palmer spins the balls and sings up a storm. Bingay takes over the upstairs bar of The Beresford in Surry Hills on the second Thursday of every month, with each monthly event having a fabulously flamboyant theme. Bingay’s balls first dropped in 1999, making it one of Sydney’s longest running LGBTI community events + it raises money for ACON's HIV and LGBTI health programs and services. So whether you’re a regular or a novice, or a local or visitor to Sydney, if you’re up for a wonderfully camp mid-week entertainment experience, then you can’t go wrong with Bingay!

THANK YOU for voting Bingay at The Beresford in Surry Hills as Sydney's Favourite Pub Event at the prestigious 2026 Diva Awards - Drag Industry Variety Awards!

BINGAY hosts Charisma Belle and Naomi Palmer collected the award. "BINGAY is so much more than a night of bingo, laughs and fabulousness," says Charisma. "It's the only event of its kind dedicated to raising money and giving back to our community. After 27 years, it's incredible to see this event going strong and making a difference."

BINGAY is a much-loved rainbow community event and fundraiser to support ACON's work for LGBTQ+ communities in NSW. 🌈

We are enormously grateful to our hosts, to the team at The Beresford, to our volunteers, to our prize sponsors, and of course, all the amazing BINGAY players who come along and join in the fun and support an important cause!

To all that voted for us at this year's DIVA Awards and to all who have been part of BINGAY over the past 27 years... THANK YOU! ❤

See you at the next Bingay! -> www.bingay.org.au 🎉
