Sutherland Shire Council has CLOSED fields for Saturday 30 May and Sunday 31st May.

As a result, all MiniRoos and Competition fixtures will be RESCHEDULED.

Saturday Round 9 fixtures will now be played on:

📅 Monday 8 June (June Long Weekend)
⚽ MiniRoos Fixtures
⚽ Competition Fixtures
meaning U6-U18 will play both Saturday 6th and Monday 8th of the June Long Weekend.

All Sunday Round 9 Fixtures will be Rescheduled to Sunday 21st June (weather pending)

Our amazing U8s are top pick for Rover of the Week. These kids braved the weather to show their team pride at the Sutherland Sharks game last weekend.

They behaved with integrity and had fun, and were amazing representatives of our club, and the high standards we are known for.

There are so many ways to volunteer. There is so much that has to be done behind the scenes that most people are not aware even happens.

Enter Joe. The registrar who makes sure our players are approved to play. He's also the gadget fixing tech extraordinaire, the person fixing stuff and upgrading things that we don't even realise need to be sorted.

At the ground, Joe is the first to lend a hand, and can often be seen supporting other teams when they need a spare set of helping hands!

Talk about people who do everything. Coaching, managing, playing, supporting our juniors, organising events and managing the canteen, Rob and Hayley are all over it.

It is very rare to find people who are prepared to give up so much of their time to support a community. Rob and Hayley turn up, every week, month after month, to make our club great.

Guys, thank you for what you do. Rovers wouldn't be Rovers without you guys!!!

It is often said that great culture within an organisation starts at the top, and nobody epitomises this as much as John.

Our amazing president. Committee member for decades, teller of terrible jokes, and friend to all. John is the kind of president and volunteer all clubs wish they could have, but they can't have him because we do!

John is always around to cheer our teams on, provide our kids with encouraging feedback, and to support the community with anything and everything. Behind the scenes, John works tirelessly to improve our facilities and create opportunities for our club and players to shine.

We are blessed with the best here at Rovers, and this man is definitely one of the absolute best you could have.

Rain, hail, or shine, Marty makes sure our fields are marked, set up correctly, and in excellent condition. He's the guy who is at the field at 6am making sure they are safe for our players to play on. The guy who fixes broken goals and equipment, and makes sure everything is ready to go on our busy competition days.

Marty is one in a million, and our club would not be the great place it is without him.
