Hi, I’m Rosie! I’m a beautiful 16hh chestnut Quarter Horse with a heart of gold, and I’m currently available for onsite lease at Heartland.
I was Western trained before arriving at my forever home at Heartland, and since then I’ve enjoyed trying my hoof at a little bit of everything. Some of my favourite things are trail riding, low-level dressage and ladies’ days.
I’m an easy-going girl and not much phases me. I’m happy to give most things a go and would love a lease rider who will spend time getting to know me, enjoy our rides together and, of course, give me plenty of love and attention.
I’m well suited to a beginner or novice rider looking to build their confidence, develop their riding and enjoy having a horse to call their own through Heartland’s onsite lease program.
I’m looking for someone who will love and adore me, understand my sweet nature and preferably won’t make me work too hard... haha!

AND HIS NAME IS… 🥁
ZEFERINO LIDER HEART 🤎

We would like to officially announce the name of our beautiful Lusitano c**t by Líder Seven, out of Luci.

Each year at Heartland, our foals follow a letter, and 2026 is the year of ‘Z’.

We chose Zeferino, a name with a beautiful meaning: “the one who brings peace” or “the gentle breeze.”

His full name, Zeferino Lider Heart, tells a little more of his story:

Heart , for Heartland, the place he was born and will always be a part of 🤎

A very special name for a very special boy.

We’d also like to acknowledge and thank the wonderful Noelle Baxter at Highlands Equine Veterinary Services, who did an incredible job delivering Zeferino and ensuring both he and Luci were so well cared for.

We’re looking forward to watching Zeferino Lider Heart grow and seeing what the future holds for this beautiful boy. 🤎

A handsome 16hh chestnut Thoroughbred gelding, Benny is suited to beginner and novice riders and is a lovely choice for riders looking to develop their skills in dressage with the support of the Heartland team.

Our lease program is designed to match each rider with the right horse based on their experience, confidence and riding goals – giving you the opportunity to enjoy the consistency of riding your own lease horse, without the commitment of ownership.
