Reminder to register for SOPA CUP 6 this coming Sunday, 14 June 2026. This is a WA registered event. If you need WA MQS scores, then this is the event you want to shoot. Your score can also be used for NSW State Team selection for the 2026 Target Nationals. Registration closes 5pm this Friday, 12 June 2026.

This is reminder to register for the 2026 SOPA Cup Series #6 on Sunday, 14 June 2026.
This is an AA registered event. Australian and State records are claimable. This is the event if you are also looking for QRE scores. Your scores can also be used if you are trying to qualify for the NSW State Team for the 2026 Target Nationals in Tasmania.
Registration closes in Assemble on Friday, 12 June 2026.
8.00 am - Registration & Equipment inspection
9.00 am - Practice starts
1. Archers shoot a normal WA 720 round. A 6-arrow end will be timed at 3 minutes (180 seconds).
2. All compound archers will shoot an 80cm target face (except U16 and U14 shoot 122cm face), while all recurve and barebow archers will shoot a 122cm face per WA ruling for age groups.
After the first 72 arrows, the archer will compete in the SOPA Cup Matchplay as per their age distance.
Points will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for each bow type in accumulation of total points for the 2026 winners.

SOPA proudly celebrated its volunteers today, acknowledging their remarkable dedication. The contributions of our volunteers are truly valued. Homemade cakes and pastries were graciously provided by generous members for morning tea. Archery Australia CEO Peter Bromley and Honorary Life Member Jon Banard had the pleasure of presenting recognition medals to nominated volunteers. We extend our sincere gratitude to the outstanding volunteers who contributed significantly to the success of the SOPA Working Bee, skillfully undertaking repairs to target frames and advancing progress. Our appreciation is also extended to City of Parramatta for their generous support through the Community Building Partnership grant, which plays a vital role in revitalizing the Revive Our Olympic Venue project through essential target butt replacement and frame repairs.
