Netball NSW is delighted to announce that the Court Craft Summer Series competition is back for another season in 2022.

This year’s Court Craft Summer Series competition will be played over four (4) nights a week from Monday 10th of October until Thursday 24th of November 2022.

Monday Nights:
Opens Division 1 (and Men’s Metro League Division 1)

Tuesday Nights:
Opens Division 2 (and Men’s Metro League Division 2)

Wednesday Nights:
15U and 17U Development Divisions

Thursday Nights:
Opens Division 3 & 4

All Divisions will play at either 7.00pm/8.30pm (alternating timeslots)

The West Macs Monster is the most exciting trail running event on the Larapinta Trail in Central Australia. The iconic Larapinta Trail, in the Tjoritja/West MacDonnell National Park in Australia’s Red Centre is definitely a bucket list hiking destination for thousands of people around the world each year. Now ultra runners will have the opportunity to test themselves on up to 231km of spectacular single track in a full length end to end, non-stop ultra race event being organised by the Alice Springs Running and Walking Club Inc (ASRWC). You can tackle the full 231km Non-Stop Sonder Monster. 128km Ellery Monster, the 65km Standley Monster or a casual 25km of delightful single track in the Simpsons Monster. Staggered starts for all events exist over 3 days of non-stop, continuous racing where all competitors finish on the Sunday, in a festival at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station. Experience an incredible connection to country as you absorb the extraordinary vistas in the amazing West MacDonnell National Park. Take on the trail and take on your mind as you join an awesome field of runners tackling, arguably, Australia's most rugged single track in a fully supported race.

ALPINE QUEST

Alpine Quest is an ultimate adventure racing experience with the best Australian teams travelling through the wilderness of unique alpine landscapes. It is the ultimate test for your body and your mind. Alpine Quest requires concentration, physical effort and teamwork and challenges your mental toughness from the start to the finish. Major accomplishments can only start with the decision to try. Two courses are on offer: an epic transalpine Expedition course, with a distance of approximately 200 kilometres and 48 hours cut off time or a 2-day stage Explore course, with a distance of approximately 150 kilometres and 48 hours cut off time (including overnight stop). Each course is determined by control points and consists of packrafting (Expedition course only), kayaking, mountain biking, and trekking legs, with some additional challenges. Teams of four will navigate their way between checkpoints over an unmarked wilderness course, using only a map and compass. Not only is physical fitness required, but also proficiency in the disciplines which make up the event. You will ride multiple single tracks, with steep descents on the mountain bike, trek through rough off-road sections, and in the Expedition course, will paddle on moving water, with up to grade 2+ rapids.

Let the woven threads of the scenic gravel roads in the Mitta Mitta Valley be a joyful discovery to you and your friends over this two-day gravel riding weekend. The vibe of this weekend is all about choosing your own adventure and creating your own story. Two Days of Gravel riding. The Mitta Valley Gravel Unravel presents riders with a choice on Saturday of two rides, but here’s the twist, you won’t know the course until you get your rider pack at the village. Will it be “The Trap” or “I’ll Be Dammed” that takes your interest? Out on course, you’ll be greeted and delighted with on-course activities and fun from our partners, the discovery (and adventure) will be yours for the choosing.
