The Eastern Phantoms scored 14 unanswered runs, erasing a 4-1 deficit to win 21-7 over the Melbourne Athletics at Little League.

12 different Phantoms had a hit and all 13 players in the line-up reached base. Darcy Brewis went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI to pace the attack.

The Phantoms improve to 3-0.

The scenario is this: if the Eastern Phantoms defeat Ryde Black, they will advance to the semi-finals. They play at 1:30PM AEST / 11:30AM AWST on Baseball+.

Teddy Tudor was the front man on an epic Canberra Rangers performance during their 13-3 win over Melbourne Rangers at the Little League Championships in Blacktown.

Tudor went 3-for-3 with an RBI, triple and a double. He also pitched 3.0 innings and struck out five.

Seven different players from Canberra had a hit and eleven reached base.

The win improves Canberra to 1-2 and drops Melbourne to 2-2. Everybody in Pool A has at least one win and nobody has more than two. Every team is still mathematically alive to finish Top 2 and advance to Finals.

The Eastern Phantoms were pushed by the Northern Territory Buffaloes in a wild game to conclude Day 2 at the Little League Championships.

The Phantoms led 4-0 before the Buffaloes scored five in the bottom of the third to take a 5-4 lead.

It was tied at six in the last inning. With one and bases loaded, the Phantoms cleared the bases by taking advantage of a few defensive miscues.

But the Phantoms gutted it out, improve to 2-0 and are a real shot are advancing out of Pool B.

Big credit to one heck of an effort by the NT Buffaloes!
