Better Behaviour Matters!
Recently, we’ve seen a higher number of behavioural incidents than usual across our events, involving coaches, players, and spectators. Our referees' association has reported several cases of heated exchanges and inappropriate verbal conduct. This behaviour is unacceptable and not reflective of our sport.
This is a friendly reminder to all members that this behaviour is not a part of our game. Volleyball NSW is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone—participants, spectators, and officials alike.
If you witness or experience behaviour that falls short of these standards, we encourage you to report it to the Chief Referee or competition staff.
We all play a role in upholding the standards of our community. Let’s support our officials, respect one another, and represent our sport with integrity.
We know our community is capable of better—and we expect it.
