More than a tennis camp. A weekend to remember. 💙🎾

The inaugural Advantage – Girls Development Camp has officially wrapped, and what a weekend it was.

Over three days, 16 young girls from across regional NSW came together at Mullumbimby Tennis Centre to develop their tennis, build confidence, make new friendships and discover the many possibilities that exist both on and off the court.

From on-court coaching and match play, to leadership, mental performance, nutrition and wellbeing, every part of the experience was designed to help girls grow as players—and as young women.

And perhaps most importantly, they had the opportunity to learn from and connect with an incredible group of female coaches, leaders and role models, seeing first-hand the many pathways a career in tennis and sport can offer beyond playing.

The feedback from participants, parents and coaches has been incredible, and we're so proud of what this first Advantage camp has created.

More confident. More connected. More inspired.

Running from 19-25 October, All Abilities Week celebrates participation across tennis, padel and pickleball and showcases the power of inclusive sport.

Could your club create the next millionaire? AO 1 Point Slam powered by Haier returns

The ultimate grassroots to Grand Slam challenge is back, with the Australian Open and Haier bringing the AO 1 Point Slam to tennis clubs across Australia.

In January, NSW champion Jordan Smith captured national attention when he won the inaugural AO 1 Point Slam on Rod Laver Arena, defeating world No. 1 Jannik Sinner and Grand Slam finalist Amanda Anisimova to claim the $1 million winner-takes-all prize.

Now, Tennis Australia is inviting clubs, associations, schools and coaches to host a local AO 1 Point Slam event to go into the running for a $50,000 tennis grant.

Future Leaders Program Applications Now Open! 🎾

Are you in Year 9 or 10 and passionate about tennis, leadership and making a difference in your community? Applications are now open for the 2026-27 Tennis NSW Future Leaders Program.

Future Leaders empowers young people to develop leadership, volunteering and project management skills while creating a meaningful project at their tennis club or school. The program includes an online learning course, an online webinar, a two-day workshop at Sydney Olympic Park and the opportunity to attend a Youth Leadership Event at the 2027 United Cup.

Participants will gain the confidence and skills to design and deliver a project that helps enhance their local tennis club/community in an area they are passionate about.

Yesterday, Howe Park Tennis Club in Singleton came alive for the Todd Woodbridge Cup, bringing young players together for a fantastic day of tennis, teamwork and plenty of fun on court.

Events like these are all about giving kids the opportunity to play, connect with their teammates and experience tennis in a fun and welcoming environment.

Congratulations to all of our NSW players who proudly represented the state, embracing every opportunity to connect through culture, community and tennis. Throughout the week, our team displayed outstanding sportsmanship, resilience and teamwork, both on and off the court.
