It was a rocky start with a bunch of losses, then they found their feet and now look at them THEY WON THE GRAND FINAL for their division.

As our final session of the year comes to an end my boys are thriving at the chance for revenge.
We have come a long way since the start of the season and win or lose I couldn’t be a prouder coach.
These young men have something to be proud of.
One game to go we must leave nothing in the tank.

This season wouldn’t be possible without all our supports, our club, the sponsors, our parents and coaching staff.

U14 City Roos 🦘 Vs Oran Park Chargers ⚫️🟢

Match Report- Coach Matty 🏉

What a game! My boys fought really hard and earned their spot in the grand final.
Every player put in the extra 10% to get the win.
I couldn’t be prouder of the boys efforts.
We started off strong with 2 quick tries before Oran park fought back with us leading 14-12 at half time.
We regrouped at halftime and got back on track with a few quick tries before finally winning 32-18!

There’s no team more deserving than us.
This week we have Hinchinbrook.
A team we haven’t beat all year.
The job isn’t done and we are out for revenge.

My boys and I couldn’t have come this far without the help of many.
A big thank you to all the parents, my coaching staff, the club and our sponsors we couldn’t have done it without you.

Saturdays game was played at Worrell Park, Ruse.

A few of our players were too cold and found it difficult to keep warm.

We started with a warm up once we put our jerseys on, we got warm and we got ready to play.
We have been working on different skills at training, we seen a lot of those skills come into the game on the weekend.

As each week goes on, I am seeing more and more improvement from every player on the field.

We all played a great game on the weekend, super proud of you all and your efforts 💪🏼

On Friday we played out of Victoria Park, Picton.
Really proud of how each and everyone of our girls played.

Great tagging, running and movement of the ball.
Just unfortunate that the game got away from us, with our fitness letting us down with no subs.

Player of the match went to Marni 🥇
She really stood out in this game with scoring a double!

Match Report- Coach Hayden 🏉

This week we had a little bit of a shift with training, the kids put in alot of hard work as they tried a few different drills.

We started fast scoring a couple tries, our solid defence meant we that we could play how we like playing.
These little kids are only getting better each week, hats off to the under 9’s they played with 8 players but that didnt stop them!

Awards could have went to everyone it’s so hard to pick each week but Levi and Jaxon got the awards for their solid efforts in attack and defence good job guys! 🏆

Was a good match against Collies I’m very proud of my kids for really pushing in their tackles this week with amazing runs from all players they have come so far and I am just so proud of them continuing with there great strong foot work has been a big skill for them when it comes to running the ball and in defence they all played hard especially them all having to play a full game with no subs. So proud team. 💙💛
