Our Senior Jazz Performance Team and Extension Contemporary Team performed beautifully .aus yesterday! You held your own in very strong sections and we were so impressed with the growth which has occurred since your first competition of season 6. The main goal of our performance program is to inspire the spirit of teamwork and build confidence onstage through performance. You did exactly this! We could not be more proud of the way you represented MSDS. 🫶So much gratitude for and . Thank you for your wonderful choreography, leadership and for giving up your Sunday to come and support our dance family. It meant a great deal to us all! 🙏🦋💗

Our MSDS soloists had a wonderful time over the weekend! A HUGE congratulations to Kate on receiving the “Spirit Award” for her age category amongst an incredibly strong class. We love this for you! 💗It’s been such a delight to watch you bloom and build confidence with your performance over the years. The adjudicator clearly saw the sweetness, purity and passion in you that we do. Well done to Elsie and Annabel on WINNING their duo section. You continue to excel with this routine and compliment each other sooooo beautifully onstage. 🤩

A HUGE highlight (and surprise!) for me as a studio owner today was having the combined efforts of all our dancers recognised by esteemed choreographer/ dancer ! Our studio took home the JUDGES AWARD 🏆for the consistency we showed across all ages throughout the day. What makes this award even more special is that each MSDS teacher’s choreography was represented today. All elements of our dance family graced the stage. To have this recognised, amongst the incredible technique and choreography of much larger studios, really meant the world. Huge gratitude to and for all you do. It’s heaven to collaborate with you both. I love our team so much! 🙏🦋🔥💗

Congratulations to our Extension Contemporary class on receiving HIGHLY COMMENDED in an extremely strong section Eisteddfod. We were blown away by the standard today and were so proud to see this routine get recognised. This is the first time MSDS has competed in this genre. Thank you to Miss Abbie for providing our dancers with a challenging and creative routine which works to each dancer’s strengths. 🧛‍♀️

A very early start didn’t stop our JJPT sparkling onstage at their first competition for Season 6 Eisteddfod.🌅✨ What a thrill to dance amongst so many talented teams in the 10 and Under Jazz category. A huge thank you to Miss Tanna for looking out for our team and keeping us on schedule. 😊 We are so proud of you all and we’re looking forward to getting back into the studio to prepare for comp #2! 👏👏👏

It’s our annual viewing opportunity at MSDS! We welcome friends and family into the studio to watch select classes and observe how much our dancers have grown whilst training at MSDS 🌱. Viewing takes place between Monday, May 4th and Saturday the 16th. A viewing schedule has been emailed to all MSDS Families. 💃🏻🤸‍♂️🎤⭐️

Are we ready for Term 2 at MSDS?!😲

We have SO much happening this term! Our Junior and Senior PERFORMANCE TEAMS will be competing in dance Eisteddfods across Sydney🎶, our RAD classical students take their annual EXAMS 🩰and we will be inviting Friends and Family into the studio for VIEWING WEEK🧐. PLUS we will be diving into CONCERT CHOREOGRAPHY 🎉!

Our RAD ballet students completed their mock exams this week. Such a valuable experience for all involved! A huge thank you to our guest teacher Samantha Simpson for her wonderful guidance and feedback. You are truly remarkable and we are so grateful to have spent quality time learning from you. As always, thank you to Miss Abbie for making sure everyone looked the part and for supporting all of us throughout the day. You’re the greatest! 🌟We look forward to integrating all we’ve learnt in the coming weeks and shining like stars on our official exam day. 💫
