Everyone belongs.
Everyone matters.
Everyone has value.
Everyone is welcome.

Today, as part of Harmony Week 2026, we united as a group of creative women to make something together and bring this group fingerprint painting to life. A reminder that we are better together. That together we can make something beautiful. That every woman has a part to play in making the Ryde Women's Hub what it is: a beautiful and welcoming place where our differences are valued and celebrated.

You'll see this painting on display at our Welcomes desk for the rest of term!

To all the wonderful women of Ryde who are part of our Ryde Womens Hub - we want to say celebrate you and the difference you make in our world!

You are valuable. You are loved. You are precious. You are beautiful. You are strong. You are appreciated. You have much to offer.

So on Wed 11/3/2026, we are celebrating International Womens Day in style, 12.30pm, with a 'Bring and Share' high tea at our usual RWH gathering.

We'd love to have you join us for the festivities. Feel free to wear something a little fancy if you want. If you are bringing food, please arrive by 12.20pm to add this to the tables.

Our sewing machines will not be available, however, we will have our usual craft resources available, or please feel free to bring anything you'd like to work on while you enjoy some delicious treats and a tea/coffee.
Also, we will enjoy a spot of trivia all about women in our world.

Hope you can join us!
The Ryde Womens Hub team.

Did you know that sunflowers are not just a single big yellow bloom? Each sunflower head is a collection of hundreds to thousands of tiny individual flowers. They bloom, and spread beauty, and inspire, and spark joy.

A perfect example of what we hope Ryde Women's Hub will be in 2026. A gathering of many women, all coming together to form something that is wonderful and magnificent, creative and expressive, uplifting and inspiring, and a joy to be part of.

Our Ryde Women's Hub program is all about:

* Building real-life connections with like-minded women
* Creating for the joy of it, not for perfection
* Inspiring one-another
* Learning something new
* Being a safe place of welcome and support

Our weekly gathering starts back on Wednesday 11th February 2026!

We are kicking off term 4 with a succulent workshop run by the wonderful Gloria!

This is a chance to create your very own succulent pot, and have fun connecting with other local women as you do.

Cost: $2 if you bring your own small mug / bowl (best if it has a drainage hole) OR $5 if you'd like us to provide a small pot.

All succulents, soil, pebbles, etc will be provided.

Please RSVP to Naomi by 13/10/2025 if you'd like to attend and take part in this workshop, so we can make sure we have enough supplies.

(If succulents are not your thing, feel free to come anyway, bring your own project/hobby to work on and chat with us as we design our succulent pots).
