Mel our Member of May

Cautious at first, but persistent — that’s what comes to mind when I think about Mel’s journey.

When someone walks into the studio for the first time, nervous, unsure if this is going to work, wondering if they’re in the right place, that was Mel.

A fresh blank canvas. We had to find a starting point, understand what was working, what wasn’t, and navigate a few challenges along the way. It wasn’t about perfection, it was about progress.

Fast forward 3 years, and she’s a completely different person.

Stronger. More confident. More willing to step outside her comfort zone and try new things.

Like many people, she still gets frustrated with herself at times, but we work through it together, and that’s part of the journey.

I still remember her first banded chin-up. The hardest part? Simply getting up onto the box, it felt scary and unfamiliar.

Now? No problems.

The results speak for themselves:
✅ No more back issues
✅ Better muscle activation — especially through her back and glutes
✅ Reduced body fat and weight
✅ Increased muscle, strength, tone, and shape
✅ More confidence in what her body can do

And if you know Mel, you’ll know her favourite exercise is the bench press — with a goal of building strong shoulders to match 💪

Small win shoutout to Shreyacee 🫳🏼

Shreyacee was at a previous gym.
Taking time off, and decided it was time to start.

Looking for a new place to start is like dating all over again.

She came with one main priority - building strength and improving overall movement.

She trains with our Breakfast Club at 5:15am twice per week, getting it done before the kids wake up and the busy day begins 👊🏼

She had never really been shown how to move correctly, engage the right muscles, or perform many of these movements properly before.

The coolest part?

Watching her confidence grow over the past few weeks since starting.

Not just physically — but in the way she moves, approaches training, and backs herself.

Small wins lead to big changes 💥
