Meet Clara 🧚🏽

Clara’s journey is a special one, due to the fact that the main reason for her decision to make some habit & lifestyle changes came from a place of love rather than hate.

Many women these days only decide to make health a priority or even fit it into their lifestyle based on appearance only. Based on ‘not liking what they see in the mirror’.

Clara chose to go on a health and fitness journey to better herself. To create better lifestyle habits and routines. And to even step outside her comfort zone 📸😜

Clara is one of many that I work with that understand the importance taking care of our health for a number of reasons. Our mental health, being number one. Being & feeling strong, feeling empowered, having more energy, creating better habits, learning about nutrition & understanding our bodies a little better. Working on optimal gut health, hormonal health and keeping promises to ourselves. Always working towards getting better, inside & out 🧠

Let’s talk about portion sizing because, my godddd, it can literally be the reason you’re NOT getting the results you want. ✋🏽

Guessed portion sizing can become a habit. And those habits can easily add an extra 300-500 calories per day without you even realising. Yes THAT much! 😱

So, here’s the tea: if you’re aiming to lose fat, getting those portions right is super important. Many gals think they’re in a caloric deficit but aren’t seeing results. The culprit? Eyeballing portions instead of measuring them. Trust me, it’s easy to think you’re hitting your calorie goals when you’re actually sneaking in a bit more.😖

Yes, I know, weighing and measuring everything can sometimes feel tedious. But hey, if you’re serious about your fatloss goals, it’s much easier to do the simple things right than struggle week after week with no results. Am I right, or am I right... And trust me when I say weighing your food becomes so easy and second nature once you get into the habit of it. It’s literally just doing the same thing, but with a scale. 🧚🏽

Challenge for the next week: make it a habit to measure EVERYTHING. Seriously, everything! It might feel like a hassle at first, but it’s much more frustrating to feel like you’re working hard and not seeing any progress, purely because you’re eye balling everything and unintentionally over consuming calories. And just so you know, you won’t become a portion pro after a few weeks. Eyeballing is tempting but rarely effective.. 🤍

You well and truely need to EARN intuitive tracking. And only use it as a tool when you HAVE to (e.g at restaurants or when no scale is available) ✅

So, are you guilty for eyeballing your portions or measuring them like a boss? There’s a big difference, and getting it right can make your fat loss journey so much smoother.

Progress is MUCH MORE than just the number on the scales.

Remember that! ✨

The number on the scales is purely data. Stop being so fixated on it. It is VERY important data to track and can certainly be a measure of progress… however IT IS NOT the only measure of progress.

This or that 🍦🍫

Now… this is not supposed to mean you should have 6 paddlepops in one night….

It is just supposed to show you a comparison of a smarter choice of Icecream when in a calorie deficit.

You could easily squeeze a paddle pop in a couple nights a week snd stay within your calories whilst still incorporating 90% whole foods within your day as apposed to wasting about 30% of your daily intake on a more calorie dense ice cream!

Client of the month ✨🦋

Every month, I’ll be sending any product from of choice to that one warrior that stands out from the crowd that month. 🧚🏽

Not only in February.. but Hayley’s determination, discipline and consistency in and out of her training always blows my mind. 🤯 She works night shift, sometimes 12 hour shifts and still NO matter what.. gets all her sessions in, gets all her steps in. Meal preps and stays focused and organised for her weeks. She stays resilient, compliant, adaptable and organised. 💪🏽

Not only has she physically transformed, she has mentally transformed. Every week her check ins inspire me to be a better person by how much she has grown individually . She has also made the decision for the last couple of months to quit drinking as she loved a little social drink every now and then. She removes the social expectation and enjoys her nights out without alcohol. This was a huge shift Hayley’s life and I am so proud of her for doing what SHE believes is best for her 💝 She has learnt to say NO and prioritise herself.

This is where confidence, respect and love is built 💕

So much love for this beautiful lady ✨💛
