Kukkiwon President Grandmaster Dr. Lee D**g Sup recently published additional guidelines for those who will test for their 6th or 7th dan. The new criteria will be effective starting March of 2022. President Grandmaster Dr. Lee D**g Sup’s redesign of the 6th and 7th dan standard ties in with one common goal; he wants to see all candidates possess the necessary skills as proud, high dan masters. Under the theme “All for Taekwondo in Everyday Life,” the Asia Development Foundation is organizing ‘the 2021 Taekwondo UCC Contest’ together with World Taekwondo,
the Kukkiwon, the Korea Taekwondo Association, and the Korea Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance (KAHPERD).
The contest, which starts on October 5 and runs until November 12, has a total prize money of 24 million won (about U.S.$20,000).
Anyone who loves Taekwondo can produce a UCC (user created contents) video (1920 X 1080 pixel) with a length of between 30 seconds to 2 minutes. The grand prize money is 5 million won.
