CONGRATULATIONS: NON-SPINNAKER DIVISION (TRUE WINTER WARRIORS)
No kites, no wind (sometimes), no worries!
The Non-Spinnaker crews proved that you don't need a kite to have a massive battle on the water. They sailed through the calmest calms and the thickest fog with pure determination
In the non-spinnaker division, Aquatonic provided the hydration, Bushranger brought the chase, and Sahara supplied the dust.

Division 2 faced the ultimate test of patience this season—including that unforgettable duckling parade where some of the fleet needed a tow and others rowed just to find the start line.

WHAT A WAY TO FINISH THE COMBINED CLUBS WINTER SERIES!
Mother Nature threw absolutely everything at the fleet this season.
We had crews being towed out to the starting line like a duckling parade, one race abandoned because the wind completely vanished, and another finish line that nobody could actually see through the fog!

THE TIDES HAVE TURNED, THE BOX IS SHATTERED
A week ago, I was on the dock capturing the launch of the SHAW AND PARTNERS WOMEN RACING. It was the ultimate prelude to a historic week for the sport. Following the event, Julia Hornsby was officially named the new Commodore of the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC).
Watching Julia speak on the dock, it was completely clear that she was already embodying the leadership of a Commodore. This campaign represents a massive shift away from the traditional, exclusionary boxes of the past. Women’s sailing is no longer fighting for recognition—we are setting the competitive course.
When elite female athletes receive genuine, high-level corporate backing from visionary partners like SHAW AND PARTNERS, the entire industry elevates. This world-class squad is heading to Newport to represent Australia on the global stage, and the horizon of our sport is changed forever.
