Nothing like starting the morning right. Awesome session OZ FIT Personal Training this morning though I’m not sure I’ll be able to walk tomorrow but here’s to giving it a try. 🤣🤣

Follow it up with a very yummy mango protein smoothy to enjoy in the peace and quiet before I get the kids up…..

So I’m sitting at home today enjoying this lovely raining weather we are having right now reflecting on the week that has gone by.

It hasnt been a good one. I’ve been moody, defensive, angry for no apparent reason, I’ve snapped, felt sad, felt overwhelmed and lonely.

I’ve always stressed out about my kids and being in new places when in all actuality it’s me who has the biggest problem adjusting. Normally everything is quite good but this week it’s just been eh. I’m missing my friends, places and people I see wandering around at work.

My problem is I don’t ask for help. I don’t talk to anyone about what’s going on in my head and that’s bad. The people who love me and are my friends care and will help me through anything. I just have to ask for help instead of hiding.

I have to refocus and keep on moving forward. Things will get better I just have to be open to it. I start a new job soon, kids are doing great in school, I feel like my fitness is starting to improve now and really I am happy with how things are it’s just that pesky black dog that rears it’s ugly head every now and then.

So I’ll fight the good fight, not give into temptation of any kind. And keep on moving forward.

Everyday is hard, some days are harder then others. It’s about how we embrace the struggles and fight through what we see as impossible.

You have it inside of you to be great. Go out and embrace yourself, do what it takes to start your journey or keep on pushing through the journey you’re already on.

Be amazing.
Embrace who you are.
You can and you will!

Don’t give up and don’t live your life in regret.

It’s tough moving to a new town, new state and often when that happens a lot of things take a back burner. For me it was my health and well being. I stopped exercising a week up to our move to Brisbane and about 5 weeks after the move.

However I knew I had to get some sort of routine back in my life as I was slowly falling back into very bad habits. So I put my big girl panties on scouted out a few gyms and then finally made the decision to join one.

Best decision ever. My energy is slowly coming back I’m starting to sleep better and feel better about myself again. Mindset always plays a big part of my life.

I’m still struggling daily though with actually getting up out of bed to go to the gym but I’m so glad I did once the class is over. I’ve been at Ozfit now for about two weeks and I’m having a ball. The ole body may not think so though but gotta keep on pushing forward to make sure I’m the best me for me and my kids.

What an amazing week it has been. The country has started to open up again and things are slowly going back to normal.

This week saw most of us starting back at the gym and what a start it was. Honestly my fitness level has dropped to almost nothing. And the DOMS wow they hit me hard.

I’m glad to be back though and I’m glad to be back on the road to health and fitness. I hope you come and join me 😉😉

It’s the little things that matter. Apart from kindness I’m talking about incidental exercise. Doing that little bit extra. Walking to the shop instead of driving. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Parking further away from the shopping mall doors. It all adds up in the end to help make a better you.

Firstly what is your self worth? It is the internal sense of being good enough and worthy of love and belonging from others.
How do you build your self worth?
💪Know your strengths and weaknesses. A strength is something that comes easy to you and a weakness will be something that doesn't come easy to you.
🤓Learn from your mistakes. You are only human you are going to make mistakes. Learn from them so you don't repeat the lesson over and over again.
🏄‍♀️ Try new things. Give it a go, you never know you may find a new strength for yourself.
🤩Recall your natural strengths and interests. These are the qualities within yourself, your skills and personal characteristics
Put in the time to give to yourself. Learn to delegate, you don't have to do everything all the time. Say NO. The world wont end if you do. Cut out activities and people who drain your time an energy. You need to do the things you enjoy doing.

How hard is it to connect with strangers in todays circumstances. When I go walking around the streets or even in the shopping centre; I always like to smile at people, in hopes it can make their day just a little brighter. I also like to smile and say hello people when i pass them while out walking.

No longer is it easy to just give a friendly smile to someone as you pass them by because even if you do; with the facemask on they cant see it and you just look like some creeper staring at them lol.

Preserver though. Eventually masks will be a thing of the past and a friendly smile and wave will always be welcome.

So keep smiling and keep on waving 💚🖤
