The chase never really got going for CYCC, as they were bowled out for just 98 runs in 18.3 overs. GNR’s bowlers maintained consistent pressure, picking up wickets at regular intervals to seal a comfortable victory.
🌟 Highlight – Om Prakash Sharma was the standout performer of the match, playing a sensational knock of 98 runs off 56 balls. His innings was full of confidence, smart shot selection, and powerful hitting, anchoring the GNR innings and putting the opposition under pressure from the start.
He narrowly missed a well-deserved century, but his contribution was match-defining and undoubtedly the backbone of GNR’s big total.

GNR Cricket Club secured a convincing 7-wicket victory over The Next Rising Cricket Club in the group stage clash. TRC posted 158/6 in their 20 overs, with Raman Jaisy leading the bowling effort for GNR by picking up 3 wickets, while Om Prakash Sharma also contributed with 2 wickets.
In reply, GNR chased down the target comfortably, scoring 162/3 in just 17 overs. Omi starred with a brilliant 54 off 27 balls, supported well by Akash Ali (34) and a solid unbeaten partnership between Kherwar Anurag (37*) and Raman Jaisy (30*), who finished the game in style.
