Is your goal actually a goal or is it a habit of punishment dressed up as motivation?

We’ve been conditioned to chase being: smaller, leaner, tighter. And we call it “being healthy.”

We call it “discipline.”

But sometimes it’s worth pausing and asking yourself: who decided this was the goal, and why?

So many times I’ve caught myself setting a goal that I genuinely couldn’t care less about. I feel like I get sucked into trying to reach these milestones that have no meaning to me, just because other people are doing them (Marathons, Hyrox…)

Real growth feels really good, it doesn’t feel like an obligation or a burden. Yeah, it might be hard but it feels right. If you’re setting goals that are actually just punishment, it’s never going to feel great

What’s on the menu this week? 👀

My period is coming, so I knew my meal prep needed to be on point (otherwise I spend 4 hours per day in the pantry) 🥲

I went to KBBQ on the weekend so felt a little inspired to make a boring version of beef bulgolgi for lunch + some classic rotations for dinner 🔥

Keep an eye out for raw frozen prawns at Coles/Woolworths, as they’re often half price and make the perfect base for a last minute meal 🫣

Training women is the best part of my job and reviews like these remind me exactly why

I'll never be the trainer who floods your feed with before and afters. What I care about is showing you how good consistent weight lifting can feel… mentally, physically, all of it.

These words aren't here to sell you something. They're here to show you that comfortable, supportive fitness spaces exist (because not every gym has to feel intimidating).

Something I hate about meal prep?

It really does make you feel better throughout the week 😂

And still, every Sunday to it’s a bit of a mental battle to get it done.

Luckily for me, it’s getting colder which means I can make heartier meals that conveniently take way less time to make.

This week I’m having overnight oats, Mexican Beef Bowls loaded with veggies, and egg bits in the afternoon + dinners and snacks 😍

All up this took around 90 minutes to prepare, and saves me HOURS during the week. It also saves so much money, decision fatigue, skipped meals and endless snacking 👀
