So recently I got asked on my story, my go-to exercise for maintaining shoulder stability?

Bands are my favourite! Theyโ€™re perfect for hitting those shoulders from all angles - front, sides, and especially the rear delts. ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Growing up, weโ€™re often taught not to compare ourselves to others, that weโ€™re unique and special in our own ways. ๐Ÿ’•

So imagine living and breathing a sport where comparison is the norm, where being the โ€˜bestโ€™ on stage for a mere 20 minutes means everything. ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Even when you win thoughts come up- Did I truly face the best competition today? How can I improve further? ๐Ÿ’ญ

Some days having tunnel vision can be hard. Some find motivation in social media, some find it distracting ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ Itโ€™s important to work out which one you are and what is a healthy headspace for you ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ

For me, this sport isnโ€™t just a hobby; itโ€™s part of being me, and has been my therapy through tough times. But in this journey, Iโ€™ve learnt the power of a tight-knit crew and silent dedication is key. ๐Ÿคซ๐Ÿ’ช

While I donโ€™t eat out regularly- I do love to enjoy a meal out ๐ŸŒŸ

My weekdays are a hustle, and I love to stay on track and stay disciplined during the week. I generally have an off the plan meal over the weekend ๐Ÿ˜‰

When I do dine out, I always opt for healthier choicesโ€“ lean meats, grilled foods, veggies, and yes, a sprinkle of sushi and burgers! ๐Ÿฅ—๐Ÿฃ๐Ÿ”

For me, its finding that happy balance ๐Ÿ˜

Ever asked yourself this? I think itโ€™s safe to say, we all do at some point in time, some more than others.

The important thing to remind ourselves of is why we started and to keep moving towards our goals and believing in ourselves.

How? By a little self love and kindness ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

This may involve different things for different people, but for me โ€ฆ.

- Disconnecting from social media for a couple days ๐Ÿคณ๐Ÿฝ
- Talking to my close circle of friends/family
- Take time to look back at recent photos/achievements
- Resting ๐Ÿ˜ด
- Eating nourishing food
