A group of our women competed in the Duntryleague Women’s Golf Open held in Orange this week and we had 2 winners who won 4 different prizes.

Jeni Wallas won 18 Hole Stableford Runner Up Div 1 and 18 Hole Nett Runner Up Div 1

Lisa Williams won 36 Hole Nett Winner Div 2 and 36 Hole Scratch Runner Up Div 2

To top it off Jeni got a Hole in One at Leura Golf Course on the way home!!!

📣 Marrickville Golf Club is Going Pokies-Free

From Wednesday 9th July, there’ll be no more poker machines at Marrickville Golf Club.

Back in 2023, the Club sold half of our machines and now the final few are on their way out.

This is a responsible step forward. We can get by without the poker machines and we don't believe they fit with the kind of place we’re building: a welcoming, family-friendly community venue.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came together in support – your energy lit up the greens. Special thanks to Greg Rowley and Kevin Gardner for their continued passion and leadership in making this day so meaningful. 💖
