🌅 6:00AM CLASSES ARE COMING… (on a trial basis 👀)
You’ve asked, we’ve listened!
We’ll be trialling 6:00am All Levels BJJ on Wednesday 22nd & Wednesday 29th July to see if there’s enough interest to add it to our regular timetable.
The future of this class is entirely in your hands. If you want early morning training to stick around, we need to see you on the mats! 💪
After the two week trial, we’ll review attendance and decide whether the class earns a permanent spot.
And let’s be honest… if Prof Ian is willing to sacrifice a sleep in for the team, the least you can do is set an alarm ⏰
See you bright and early! ⭕️❌

A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy is more than a place to train.
It’s where friendships are built, confidence grows, goals are achieved, and people show up for each other week after week.
If there’s ever something we can do better, we’d much rather have a pconversation than a goodbye. Your feedback helps us grow, just as training helps us grow on the mats.
Thank you to every member who chooses to spend part of their week with us. Your trust, loyalty, and support are what make ONYX more than just an academy, they make it a community.
We’re proud to be on this journey with you 🖤🥋

BJJ is about far more than submissions and medals.
It’s about building the confidence to stay calm under pressure, making good decisions in difficult situations, and knowing how to protect yourself and those around you when there are no other options.
The best self defence is always to avoid conflict, de escalate when possible, and get home safely. BJJ doesn’t teach people to look for fights, it teaches them how to think clearly, control their emotions, and use the minimum force necessary if they ever find themselves in danger.
For many of our members, the greatest benefit isn’t what happens on the mats - it’s the confidence they carry into everyday life.
If you’ve ever considered learning a skill that could improve your fitness, confidence, and personal safety, now is the perfect time to start.
🥋 Your future self may thank you.
