The amount of reps & sets is arbitrary. There’s no one set workout, routine or program that will be beneficial to everyone..
You gotta learn, practice, refine & challenge yourself constantly if growth is what you want.
In saying that there are universal principles/exercises/concepts to build strength & if you train within alignment to these principles. Improvement is guaranteed if you hit the all the main pillars to stimulate muscle growth/strength.
Do the knowledge, read more books. Track your sessions & critique your effort.
