💥🧨 1 vs 1 Bullrush!
This is a coaches favourite and is UNREAL for building an explosive sidestep to evade an opponent and then build a burst of speed to get away (creating space and distance).

The use case is unlimited in sports, nearly every running sport (such as rugby, basketball, netball, soccer etc) you have to evade an opponent somewhere, so creating these skills is very important.

As you can see here today at our Easter Holiday camps, the kids worked out how to implement this sidestep and go brilliantly!!

Play this game with your kids in the park or at home to build these strong ankles these holidays, or you can just send them to us!

We get asked this quite a bit, WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE between Athletics and Athletic Development?

Whilst both are awesome, this graphic gives you an idea. Athletic Development is multidirectional movement patterns that arn't fixed, building overall movement function which is prevalent in all sports.

Soccer, it's not just sprinting straight, you dodge, shuffle, run backwards, sideways, stop.

In rugby, you push off the floor, roll around, get hit, fall hard, all movements you need to master to prevent injury.

Building the Athletic base from 5-12 years of age is so important, not just for sports, but everyday life and fitness as they turn from kids into adults.

This should be taught in schools as part of their main curriculum, but sadly isn't and most never even know this until its too late and they fall out of love with moving.
