Steven McRae has been named Australian of the Year in the UK, recognised for his outstanding achievements and contribution to cultural life in Britain. The award was presented at the Australia Foundation’s Annual Gala Dinner in London, an event that brings together the UK–Australian community to celebrate excellence across a broad range of fields.

Huge congratulations to our wonderful 2025 Alegrian graduate, Ernie (Ernesto) Young, now with the Berlin State Ballet School,
who has recently won the prestigious Tanzolymp Berlin Final
First place Senior Contemporary.

Congratulations to our beautiful student, Ava Windeisen, 13 yrs, who recently won 1st place in the traditional contemporary section 13 yrs and also the overall highest score for traditional contemporary at the Follow Your Dreams competition. Also, Ava was chosen to at the YAGP competition to participate in the International Contemporary Youth Ensemble in Tokyo, Japan.

We are so proud of you, Ava. Keep up the excellent work.

Congratulations to our amazing Oscar Taggart - Winner of Cecchetti Examination Scholarship of Excellence 2025 - NSW Advanced 1.

Oscar has recently commenced training at La Scala Ballet School in Milan, Italy. Keep up the excellent work, Oscar. We are so proud of all you have achieved, and we look forward to following you on the next leg of your journey to becoming a professional dancer!
