The main force behind The Fit Project is a deep desire to help individuals achieve their long-term diet and nutrition goals. Whether you’re seeking help with weight loss, sports nutrition, or disease prevention, each client is individually evaluated and provided with a well-researched and comprehensive plan they can follow for the rest of their lives.

Coach Kimmi, the Founder of TFP has an extensive background and education within Nutrition & Fitness. Her professional history both current and previous involves studying with University of South Australia (Bachelors in Health Science – Nutrition and Exercise), Clean Health Fitness Institute & The Academy of Fitness Australia to name a few.

With her own personal experience in facing hurdles with food, dieting, training & mindset, she believed HEALTH STARTS AT HOME

This gorgeous mama who had only given birth October 25th is already back into it
8.5 weeks difference.
Starting weight 80kg
Now 72.7 !
With a new born and an old injury, she still wakes up, preps her food, does her workouts... is 100 percent focused and accountable !!
Oh... and this is NO GYM!
This gorgeous mama is on a HOME BASED workout plan and a very strategic nutrition plan.
Her meals are as she likes them V
She even gets chocolate

Let’s talk SPOT TREATING!

To cut it short. It doesn’t exist 😅
If you ever read something that says “here is an exercise on how to loose lower stomach fat” or “eat this to loose those tuck shop arms….. STOP READING.

There is no exercise or diet that will “spot treat” an area to loose fat. Food doesn’t go into your gutt and say “ok, let’s make my way down to the lower abdomen and burn off the stubborn fat”… there’s no amount of crunches in the world that can do this either… sorry!

Fact is, our body will put on and loose weight as a whole. You may notice certain areas gain fat faster… however there’s no way to control this.

The ONLY way to change your body’s composition is through a HEALTHY diet and exercise routine - CONSISTENTLY!

Have you heard of GVT training?

(German Volume Training) 🍑

For those of you who maybe have hit a brick wall with training or hit a plateau… this could be the game changer.

The 10x10 method:
This program involves a high number of sets and reps with short rest periods. GVT will push your muscle to its limit, responding in some serious muscle growth.

As an example, our personal favourite is doing 10 sets of 10 reps for a glute bridge. Weight remains the same.

Because of the same muscle being worked at a high intensity repetitively, it triggers a stage of muscle hypertrophy.

We recommend doing this for the bigger lifts like;
Glute Thrusts (our favourite for GVT)
Narrow Grip Bench Press
Lat Pull Down
Barbell Bicep Curls

This style of training is best for the experienced lifter, for those wanting to try this style of training we recommend speaking to a fitness professional from TFP to ensure your GVT is done correctly and safe!
