Professora Serenata - Jogo de dentro. Jogo de fora.

Professora Serenata’s workshop explores the conversation between playing in and out — a core part of Capoeira across all styles.
Through partner work and simulated roda moments, you’ll develop your use of direction and build confidence adapting fundamental movements.

As part of Graduada Joia’s amazing beginner’s program in Canberra, she has also organised this fantastic afternoon of workshops.

If you're looking to get your body moving and try something new this year, check out these West African drumming and Capoeira workshops with Capoeira Aruanda Australia. These 45-minute sessions are designed for anyone with an interest in Afro-Brazilian culture, movement, martial arts, or music.

An amazing day celebrating the life of Mestre Borracha, with a ceremony where some of Borracha's closest friends and family shared stories and tributes, and a roda de rua in Coogee with many Aruandeiros from past and present.
