From the very beginning of the innings AR Robin took control of the innings. He combined classical Strokeplay with power-hitting, scoring 41% of the team’s total runs.

Tarequr Rahman produced a breathtaking innings to power Sylhet Royals to a winning total in the opening match of SCL 2026 Season 1. His explosive 37 runs from just 14 balls, featuring 4 fours and 3 sixes, completely shifted the momentum in Sylhet’s favour. Rahman’s fearless stroke play, including a destructive over that yielded 30 runs, laid the foundation for the Royals’ eventual victory and earned him the Man of the Match award.

Man of the Match – Isbat Mahin

Isbat Mahin produced a match-winning innings to guide Wollongong Fury to a thrilling 3-wicket victory over Sydney Fighters in the SCL 2026 Season 1.

Chasing 147, Fury suffered an early setback before Mahin took control of the innings with a positive and aggressive approach. His valuable 39 runs from 32 balls, featuring 3 fours and 2 sixes, provided the momentum Fury needed during the chase. He also shared a crucial partnership with Kazi Farhan Shadik (26) to keep the innings on track.

Earlier, Sydney Fighters posted a competitive 146/5, led by SKD Rahul (48) and Farhad Mahbub (44). Despite excellent bowling performances from Saqlain Mahamud (3 wickets) and Shovo Ghosh (3 wickets), Wollongong Fury held their nerve and reached the target in 19.2 overs.

Mahin’s attacking knock proved to be the difference between the two sides, earning him the well-deserved Man of the Match award.

Man of the Match – Asif Adnan

Asif Adnan delivered a match-winning performance to guide Banksia Bravehearts to a commanding 69-run victory over Fenix Aries in SCL 1.0. Defending 177, Adnan produced a devastating spell of 5 wickets for just 8 runs from 3 overs, including a maiden, completely dismantling the Fenix Aries batting lineup.

His five-star bowling display turned the game decisively in Bravehearts’ favour, ensuring the opposition never recovered from the early setbacks. Adnan’s outstanding figures of 3-1-8-5 were the highlight of the match and earned him a well-deserved Man of the Match award.
