Great day at Merrylands today for our Veterans and Super Veterans. Thank you to Angela (who is neither) for taking the photos and generally looking after the oldies.

Good luck to Shirley and Karen as they start their campaign to become the Champion of Champions Pairs winners for 2025-26.
Their first game is tomorrow at Cabravale Club Resort starting at 9am. Let’s hope the weather improves.
Jon and Adam won their first game and play Round 3 at Merrylands tomorrow starting at 1pm.

Good luck to The Hills teams in the Champion of Champion pairs this week. Jon Melit and Adam Baker play at Merrylands at 12:30pm Monday 25 May. A great day of bowls and fundraising at The Hills today for the 2026 Biggest Morning Tea.
Thank you to Andrew for organising the team who made the top green playable. Amazing effort from everyone involved.
Thank you to everyone who participated on the day and to those behind the scenes for your organisation. To all the cooks, morning tea was delicious! Hayley did a fantastic job as our photographer.

Congratulations to Marion Corrigan our 2025-26 Consistency Singles champion. It was a great battle between our top leads. Elizabeth Whelan was a well deserved runner up.

It was great to see bowlers from Denistone and Castle Hill join us for bowls today. It’s a shame that the weather wasn’t better but regardless it was a good day for making new friends.

Women’s State Carnival 2026
Great bowling and fun times with old friends and new. Although no one made it through to the final series, Karen’s team came 2nd in their section and the other two teams each had two wins.
