The way you speak about yourself matters more than you probably realise❗️
If you constantly tell yourself:
“I’m lazy.”
“I have no discipline.”
“I’m terrible with food.”
“I always give up.”
Eventually, those things can start to feel like who you are, rather than behaviours you’re capable of changing🌀
And your brain will naturally look for evidence to support that identity❣️
So instead of asking “Why am I like this?” start asking:
“Who do I want to be, and what would she do today?”
Then prove it to yourself through your actions
You don’t need to fake positive affirmations or pretend everything is perfect
You just need to stop reinforcing an identity you’re trying to outgrow❗️

The goal isn’t to have more willpower i believe its to stop making certain foods feel forbidden in the first place
Try swapping “I can’t have it” for “I can, I’m just choosing whether I want it right now.”
Less restriction → less obsession → more choice

A reminder that’s been hitting a little differently for me lately
Appreciate your body🙂↕️
I’ve always been grateful that I get to move, train and feel strong in my body but being in pain has made me realise just how much freedom there is in being able to move without thinking about it.
Getting out of bed or going for a walk, Training, bending down , sitting comfortably, getting through your day without every movement hurting.
You don’t realise how much of your life is made easier by your body simply being able to do those things
& when you’re dealing with an injury, you suddenly realise how much you miss the things you normally don’t even think twice about.
Since my car accident in June, my back has been so up and down. I’ll have a good period and think I’m finally getting somewhere, then it flares up again.
& right now, it’s really fu***nggg painful 😥
But if anything, it’s made me even more grateful for the days where my body feels good and I can do the things I love
So if you can move without pain today, do it and stop complaining pls
Go for the walk 🚶♀️
Get outside 🌞
Lift the weights 💪🏻
Run 🏃
Stretch 🧘♀️
Whatever it is that makes you feel good in your body😇
Our body is doing SO much more for you than just looking a certain way , sometimes being able to move freely is the fu***ng privilege😗😗

You don’t need to wait until you feel motivated , you’ll be waiting a while 🫵🏻
You need to start proving to yourself that you can follow through
Because every small decision is reinforcing an identity
“I don’t have discipline”
or
“I do what I say I’m going to do”
“I always give up”
or
“I keep going even when it’s hard”
You don’t change who you are with one huge decision
You change through the choices you repeat - that’s where the real transformation happens
