Too many athletes put their development on hold the moment the season starts. That is how you plateau.

Today’s session with rugby league athlete Khobie was built around a high-performance progression designed to stack wins all season long. Every single block serves a specific purpose:

⚡ The Breakdown:
* Movement Prep & Acceleration: Unlocking fluid movement and explosive starting power.
* Plyometrics & Velocity Work: Training the central nervous system to strike fast and hard.
* Strength-Speed & Hypertrophy: Maintaining peak power output without burning out.
* Armour Building: Creating a resilient body that handles heavy contact week after week.

The best athletes don’t just survive the season. They continue to evolve.

Don't just play the game. Own the process.

Enjoy this small snippet of Victoria Russell’s (Tori) preparation for the Rep Netball State Titles. 👊

Tori’s journey has been built on resilience, commitment, belief, and trust in our process.

After breaking her arm before trials, she never stopped showing up. Even throughout her injury, Tori remained a consistent presence in the gym, attacking every session with purpose and trusting that the work she was putting in behind the scenes would prepare her for the moment she returned to court.

Now, with State Titles only 3 weeks away, the focus has shifted to fine-tuning every aspect of her preparation to ensure she is ready to perform when it matters most.

Playing Centre and Wing Attack, Tori’s work ethic, consistency, and commitment to the process have been outstanding. We’re excited to see all the hard work come together as she takes the court to represent Camden at the Netball State Titles.

With the grounds closed due to the wet weather, it was great to have the SD Raiders Girls Youth teams back in getting quality work done indoors.

While field sessions may be cancelled, there is still plenty of quality training that can be completed. We pride ourselves on ensuring valuable work still gets done, regardless of the conditions

Proud to help provide an environment where athletes and teams can continue improving, no matter the conditions.

A small snapshot of today’s program for national swimmer Charlotte. Aka Baby Shark 🦈

Movement prep to improve mobility, activation, and position before loading.

Medicine ball power work to develop explosive force transfer for starts, turns, and stroke power.

Plyometrics to improve stiffness and reactivity off the starts and turns.

Strength work to build robustness and force production where it matters most.

Over-speed training to challenge coordination and movement velocity at higher speeds.

Followed by an armour block focused on shoulder health to keep her strong, resilient, and able to handle the demands of high-volume swimming.

Every piece of the session is collaboratively designed alongside her swim coach to ensure the gym translates directly into performance in the pool.

High performance is never random. It’s planned.

We’re proud to officially announce that Danny Pasusuwan has joined Katalyst Performance as our Full-Time Head Strength & Conditioning Coach / Sports Science Coordinator.

Big weeks don’t always come with loud noise.

This one did.

Our Katalyst girls delivered across the board.

PBs on the national stage in the pool, and qualification for the Commonwealth Games trials.

Australian plates at BMX Nationals and BMX World Championship tickets secured.

To dominant performances in winning the J250 tennis tournament in Sydney.

And our netballers stepping confidently into their rep carnivals.

We are so proud of all our athletes, but this week hit differently.

More than anything, we look forward to watching these young women continue to grow, develop, and become the leaders we know they’re capable of being.

As many of our athletes enter the in-season phase, performance is no longer built only in the gym. It is protected, expressed and sustained through nutrition.

Training loads are high. Games are frequent. Travel, school and work stress add up. If athletes are underfuelled during the season, their performance drops, recovery slows, and their risk of injury increases.

In season is not the time for aggressive dieting, skipping meals or trying trends. Focus on eating enough calories from balanced, real foods, such as lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, to support your training and recovery.

Fuel like an athlete. Recover like a professional. Perform when it matters most.
